Urologic Ultrasound Learning Center

Learning Center Terms of Use

Effective and last updated: November 7, 2026

These Learning Center Terms of Use govern applications for, access to, and use of the Urologic Ultrasound Learning Center, including its courses, protocol demonstrations, assessments, videos, images, expressly downloadable resources, certificates, and supporting educational materials.

1. Eligibility and educational purpose

The Learning Center is limited to approved urology residents, fellows, attending physicians, qualified ultrasound technologists, and other adult learners specifically authorized by the Learning Center administrator. You must be at least 18 years old to apply.

Registration constitutes an application for access and does not guarantee approval or continued access. Access remains subject to eligibility, approval, and continuing compliance with these Terms of Use.

The Learning Center is provided solely for education and professional development. It does not provide medical advice, establish a physician-patient or other healthcare-provider relationship, establish a standard of care, or replace appropriate clinical education, hands-on training, supervision, consultation, institutional policies, or professional judgment.

2. Sensitive clinical material

Some materials include demonstrations of ultrasound examinations involving intimate anatomy, external genitalia, transrectal procedures, and other sensitive clinical subject matter.

By accessing the Learning Center, you acknowledge the clinical nature of these materials and voluntarily choose to view them for legitimate educational purposes.

All clinical content must be viewed and handled respectfully, professionally, and confidentially.

3. Patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality

You must respect the privacy, dignity, and confidentiality of every patient, model, and other individual depicted or discussed in the Learning Center.

You agree that you will not:

  • Attempt to identify any patient, model, or other individual depicted or discussed in the materials.
  • Disclose, distribute, or use any potentially identifying information contained in the materials.
  • Use the materials in any manner that compromises patient or participant dignity, privacy, or confidentiality.
  • Post, transmit, or discuss sensitive clinical material through social media, public forums, or other unauthorized channels.

4. Limited license and permitted use

Subject to these Terms of Use, you are granted a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, and revocable right to access and view the Learning Center materials solely for your personal education and professional development. Access is personal to the registered member and does not transfer ownership of or other rights in any material.

You may download only those resources that are expressly identified as downloadable. An authorized download remains limited to your personal educational use and may not be redistributed, republished, publicly displayed, or incorporated into other materials.

You may create personal notes and may apply the knowledge and skills you learn, subject to your professional responsibilities. Personal notes must not reproduce patient images, assessment questions or answers, or substantial portions of the Learning Center materials.

5. Prohibited use

Unless expressly authorized in writing, you may not:

  • Except for resources expressly identified as downloadable, download, record, photograph, or screen-capture Learning Center videos, images, assessments, or supporting materials.
  • Copy, reproduce, transcribe, republish, modify, translate, sell, license, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from the materials.
  • Use Learning Center materials in a presentation, publication, course, lecture, website, social-media post, artificial- intelligence system, machine-learning system, content-generation service, or other work.
  • Upload or submit Learning Center materials to a transcription, summarization, artificial-intelligence, machine-learning, or content-generation service.
  • Share your username, password, account, video links, or Learning Center access with another person, or permit another person to view restricted materials through your account.
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent account controls, membership restrictions, video restrictions, domain restrictions, or other security measures.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, copy, index, download, reproduce, or extract Learning Center content or data.
  • Remove, obscure, or alter a copyright, trademark, attribution, confidentiality, or other proprietary notice.
  • Use the materials for any unlawful, misleading, exploitative, commercial, or unauthorized purpose.

6. Assessment integrity and certificates

You must personally complete all quizzes, knowledge checks, and examinations. You may not permit another person to complete an assessment for you; provide or receive unauthorized assistance; use automated, artificial-intelligence, or content-generation tools to answer assessment questions; or copy, photograph, record, publish, or share assessment questions or answers.

We may invalidate an assessment result or certificate and may suspend or terminate access when there is a reasonable basis to believe that an assessment was completed dishonestly, by another person, or in violation of these Terms of Use.

A Certificate of Completion documents completion of the applicable course requirements. It does not constitute professional certification, verification or endorsement of clinical competency, licensure, credentialing, clinical privileges, or authorization to perform any examination or procedure. The courses do not provide CME or other continuing-education credit unless such credit is expressly stated in writing.

7. Clinical responsibility

You remain responsible for your own clinical decisions and for practicing within the scope of your education, training, competence, licensure, privileges, institutional policies, and applicable laws and professional requirements.

No result, technique, protocol, interpretation, or example presented in the Learning Center guarantees a particular clinical outcome or establishes that a procedure is appropriate for a particular patient.

Educational content may not reflect every current guideline, device, technique, institutional requirement, or subsequent development. You are responsible for consulting current authoritative sources and applicable institutional policies.

You should obtain appropriate training, supervision, consultation, credentialing, and institutional authorization before applying any technique demonstrated in the Learning Center.

8. Registration, application review, and approval

Information submitted during registration may be used to create and administer your account, determine your eligibility for Learning Center access, review or verify your professional credentials where applicable, protect the integrity of the educational materials, and communicate with you about your application or account.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current registration information. We may contact you to request clarification, supporting information, or verification when reasonably necessary to evaluate eligibility or complete an application review.

An application may remain pending while it is reviewed. We may approve or deny an application, or later suspend or revoke access, based on eligibility, program requirements, capacity, security or integrity concerns, the accuracy of information provided, or compliance with these Terms of Use.

Providing false, incomplete, outdated, or misleading information may result in delayed approval, denial of registration, suspension, or termination of Learning Center access.

Do not submit patient information or protected health information through the registration form, account profile, assessments, contact form, or other general website forms.

9. Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account. You must use accurate identifying information and may not impersonate another person or organization.

You must not allow another person to use your account. Please notify the site administrator promptly if you believe that your account, password, or access credentials have been lost, disclosed, or used without authorization.

10. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise indicated, the Learning Center and its original videos, images, assessments, text, graphics, protocols, designs, and supporting materials are owned by or licensed to Urologic Ultrasound and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Access to the Learning Center does not transfer ownership of any material or grant any license except the limited personal-use right expressly described in Section 4. No implied license or permission is granted.

Third-party names, trademarks, products, images, videos, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners and may be subject to additional terms.

Requests for permission to use Learning Center materials must be submitted through the website's contact page and must receive written approval before the proposed use begins.

Learning Center content, features, courses, assessments, availability, eligibility standards, and access requirements may be corrected, modified, replaced, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Continuous, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free access is not guaranteed.

Provisions concerning intellectual property, confidentiality, patient privacy, prohibited use, assessment integrity, responsibility, and any other provisions that by their nature should continue will survive suspension or termination of access.
